ABOUT THE ACADEMY

OLODI WARRIORS SPORTS ACADEMY (OWSA) was formed in April, 1998 and was founded by some group of people in the likes of Coach Tiamiyu Adeshina Taofeeq and Mr Hassan Tiamiyu.

The academy was set up using football as an engagement tool for the disaffected young people in the area of Olodi Apapa, Ajegunle.
Ajegunle is popularly known as the football city of Lagos State.

* The primary aims of the academy are to promote sports and football at a grass root level.

* To discourage street abuse , such as drug addiction, illegal and sex tourism, crime and youth indulging in unlawful activities.

* To expose, motivate & develop the talent skills and talent of the young people, to promote citizenship and aid personal and national
development.

* To develop players who are technically good, brilliantly skilful and best suited for any international league with the right attitude to see their career through.
